We had an amazing time at the 2014 NAMM show in Anaheim. It was exhilarating to sign on some great new retailers at the show and on our California road trip. We’re also signing on distributors in more than 6 other countries (to be announced later).
One of our personal highlights at NAMM ’14 was seeing the caliber of acoustic guitarists that were really interested in our guitars. Among these were Luca Francisco and Trevor Gordon Hall. (We’ll do another post soon on all our upcoming sponsored musicians). I (Rob) have been watching Trevor along with several other Candy Rat guitarists over the past several years, and was thrilled to meet him at the show.  Trevor’s talent with the kalimbatar is nothing short of phenomenal. Luca was a delight to meet – he has the warmth and passion you’d expect from an Italian, and is just a cool guy – and his guitar playing is spectacular. I greatly enjoyed listening to his CD Morning Lights on our drive from LA to San Diego after the show.
