Ultra Ergonomic Guitars
If you find traditional acoustic guitars uncomfortable, the RoadTrip and Journey Junior models will put a smile on your face for sure!
Easier to Fret: The smaller guitar body and shorter 24.5 inch scale, combined with the asymmetrical wedge result in an ergonomic angle on the neck and soundboard for optimal playing efficiency. The angled neck leverages the natural weight of your arm to add pressure against the fingerboard when you make chords – this requires less pressure from your fretting hand and is particularly helpful for barre chords. For beginner and student guitarists, this makes it considerably easier to learn barre and complex chords up the neck. For experienced guitarists who need to play or practice for hours, this may reduce stress in your fretting hand and can help offer relief for guitarists muscle or joint discomfort or injuries.
Easier to Strum or Pick: By angling the guitar body more naturally against the guitar player, reduces the tendency of a guitarist to “crouch” over the guitar when strumming or picking – making it more natural to play with better posture and promoting a more efficient strumming. If you’re just learning guitar it encourages proper posture to enhance and prolong your playing or practice time. And if you’re an experienced guitarist, it may help alleviate pain or unnecessary stress to your shoulder, neck, and joints as well. For guitarists with injuries or pain in the neck, wrist, or shoulder – such as arthritis, tendonitis, micro-tears, carpal tunnel, or other injuries that affect your muscles or joints – the shorter scale and wedge design of these small-bodied ergonomic guitars are a welcome improvement over traditional guitar designs. Great For Petit and Smaller Guitarists
The integrated shorter 24.5 inch scale, smaller guitar body, and Manzer Wedge© of these guitars are perfect for smaller and petite guitarists as well. If you’re a guitarist with a smaller frame that finds larger guitars uncomfortable and you’re tired of playing weak-sounding ¾ sized gitars, look no further. By adding a wedge to the body, our ergonomic guitars are able to achieve an ease of play found in most shorter 21-23 inch scale student guitars, yet maintain a bit longer scale for an increase in tone and volume.
