EP00J – Endpin Pickup Replacement Jack

This is our standard Endpin pickup jack that works with all plug-in piezo pickups from 2016 onwards.

Installation procedures:

1. Test the new jack with your existing piezo elements by unplugging the piezos from the existing jack on your guitar, and connecting the piezos to the new jack. Then plug in a 1/4 inch guitar cable into the jack prior to installation. (Yes, this means you’ll be connecting a guitar cable to your pickup through your soudhole) You should be able to tap on the soundboard near the bridge area and hear the “thump” from your tap amplified through your amp. Once confirmed, continue with steps 2-4.
2. Unplug the piezo elements from your existing pickup jack.
3. Remove the existing pickup jack.
4. Install the new jack and reconnect the piezos to the new jack.

(If you have an older Journey Guitar, chances are you have a pickup that will need to be entirely replaced as it does not have an internal socket connection.)
